Baked Beans recipes
Apple Bean Bake
| 1 (48 oz.) jar Great Northern beans | 4 Tbsp. butter |
| 1/2 cup brown sugar | 1/4 cup white sugar |
| 1/2 cup catsup | 1 tsp. cinnamon |
| 1 Tbsp. molasses | 1 tsp. salt |
| 1/2 cup Friske's Apple Butter BBQ Sauce | |
| 3 cups (3 apples) med. tart apples, cubed (Macs, Spartan, Empire, Cortland) |
Melt butter in skillet; add cubed apples and cook until tender. Add sugars, stir and cook until sugar is dissolved. Stir in cinnamon, catsup, molasses and salt. Add beans and mix well. Pour mixture into 2 quart casserole and bake at 400º for 45 minutes. Add BBQ sauce, stir & bake another 15 minutes.
