Looks like the 2010 Cherry Crop was slightly smaller than it was in 2009. Maybe by about 20%. That’s the bad news.

The good news was that the Cherries ripened over a longer period which allowed the farmers more time to process the cherries. This allowed them to extend the season and actually process almost as many as in 2009.

There was a scare earlier in the year that warmer than normal spring temperatures could lead to frost damage, however, other than in isolated areas that did not happen.
